The 5 Regional Steering Committees for Africa, Americas, Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Middle East meet at least every two years and on ad hoc basis to monitor progresses and coordinate the activities related to regional priority TADs.

They include regional economic communities, regional specialised organisations, members of the bureau of the WOAH Regional Commissions, animal health networks, donors, regional representation of FAO and WOAH who ensure the regional secretariat. The collaboration between public and private sectors is also encouraged.
