The 4th meeting of the GF-TADs for Europe took place on January 26-27 2012, in the premises of AFSCA in Brussels, Belgium. The meeting was chaired by the President of the GF-TADs for Europe, Dr B. Van Goethem and attended by 50 participants including the Director General of OIE, Dr B. Vallat. 
The objectives of the meeting were to review the epidemiological situation in the Region as well as the prevention and control measures put in place with regards to regional priority diseases, and also to emerging diseases and discuss the draft 5 year Action Plan of the GF-TADs for Europe, as recommended during the previous meeting of the Regional Steering Committee .
