
11th GF-TADs Global Steering Committee (GSC11) - Session 3
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) co-organized the 11th Global Steering Committee Meeting (GSC11) of GF-TADs as virtual event on 3-4 November 2020 and 17 December 2020.
The purpose of the first two sessions of the GSC11 (3 and 4 November) was to discuss the progress towards follow of the recommendations adopted during the previous Global Steering Committee Meeting (GSC10), progress along the 4 global priority TADs (ASF, FMD, PPR, Rinderpest post eradication programme), revision of the terms of reference of regional steering committees, ongoing revision of regional priority diseases and to discuss expectations from members regarding future GF-TADs strategy. The purpose of the third session of the GSC11 (17 December) was to discuss the theory of change of the GF-TADs strategy, the consultation process and the discussion and adoption of the recommendations from the first session and drafting of the recommendations of the last session.
