The second Pest des petits ruminants (PPR) Roadmap meeting for West Africa Roadmap took place in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire from 5 to 7 March 2019. The meeting was organized by FAO, OIE and AU-IBAR in collaboration with ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) and authorities of Côte d'Ivoire.  The meeting was held in French and English.

The meeting follows the first meeting of the Roadmap for the control and eradication of the PPR for West African countries took place in Dakar, Senegal from 9 to 11 May 2016. Attendees adopted the Regional Roadmap for West Africa for the Elimination of PPR by 2030.
