The SGE ASF6 took place on 28-29 November 2016 in Vilnius, Lithuania. All countries attended - except Russia - and presented the evolution of their epidemiological situation since September 2016, the state of implementation of the SGE ASF previous meetings recommendations, as well as their control measures in place. Technical presentations, focusing on 'depopulation/stamping out procedures as a prevention and control measure; practical aspects related to carcass disposal and disinfection of holdings', were made by three reknown experts, namely J. Westergaard, V. Guberti and K. Gruzdev.
