The second regional PPR roadmap meeting for North Africa was held in Tunis, Tunisia on 02-03 April 2019.

Since 2009, the Mediterranean Animal Health Network (REMESA) has been responsible for regional coordination of the PPR control actions of North African countries (Maghreb and Egypt), with the support of GF-TADs. With its four thematic sub-networks (RELABSA for laboratories, REPIVET for epidemiology, RECOMSA for communication and RESEPSA for socioeconomics)
